UNBUNDELED POWER RATES FEBRUARY MARCH COMPARISON:
As per residential consumer rates the basic charge has an increase of .0235/ kwh on Basic Charge due to increased Transmission charge rate amounting to .1143/ kwh from 1.4633/ kwh for the month of February to 1.5776/ kwh on March. While the rate on Generation System Charge has a decreased amount of .0772/ kwh as well as the rate on System Loss Charge with .0137/ kwh decreased amount.

Continuing education to new applicants for membership embracing technology-enhanced learning at Sorsogon II Electric Cooperative (SORECO II)
Pre-membership Education Seminar, one of the requirements for membership application under SORECO II Policy 15 is converted to e-learning to ensure learning outcomes were uncompromised amidst pandemic. While the assumption is that not all applicants have laptop and internet connection to do virtual seminars at home, the MSD Info Team pre-recorded the lectures and made arrangements for applicants to attend scheduled digital PMES at the branch office of their respective district where safety and health protocols are strictly implemented. #yoursafetyisourpriority
SORECO II sends off Task Force Kapatid team
In the spirit of Cooperativism, SORECO II joins PHILRECA, NEA and other Electric Cooperatives in facilitating the immediate power restoration in the areas ravaged by Super Typhoon Rolly and Typhoons Quinta and Ulysses. SORECO II Task Force Kapatid were deployed November 17, 2020 at about 9:20 in the morning to assist in the power restoration of distribution lines and facilities of CASURECO 1 affected by typhoons. With the General Manager’s approval, TSD Manager Engr. Bobeth M. Dellosa and ISD Manager Rochelle E. Tan selected these eight (8) linemen personnel of SORECO II to compose the “PRDD Task Force”, an initiative of the One EC Network Foundation in cooperation with PHILRECA, APEC, Ako PaDayon Pilipino and Recoboda party-lists. The team equipped with one (1) boom truck/ manlift, electrical materials, safety tools, personal protective equipment, food allowances, supplements and an Antigen negative result will be extending help to CASURECO 1 power restoration for at least fifteen (15) days. A briefing on safety and other protocols was also conducted by Safety Officer Dante Encinas, spearheaded by GM Engr. Josef Erwin R. Tabuena and BOD President Engr. Dominador E. Escoto, Jr. on November 16 to ensure that safety practices will be integrated into the team’s daily operations.
Suspension of Disconnections on SORECO II Consumers 40kWh and Below
Per ERC Advisory October 29, 2020
SORECO II MCOs with Consumption of 40kWh and below:
1. Shall not be disconnected until December 31, 2020.
2. For October and November 2020 power bills only
3. MCOs who can settle bills within the original due dates will help in managing cash flow in the energy supply chain and the continuous electricity supplyPS. Government offices, government agencies, government-owned corporations and other government instrumentalities are not covered by this ERC Advisory
